The Idea Lab is proud to be a part of NWPA's Innovation Beehive Network. The Beehive Network is comprised of five collaborating, grant-funded centers that encourage business growth. Each offers a specific area of expertise that aids individuals with innovation skills, branding, ingenuity, product design, business strategies, and more. Learn more about the Beehive Network here.

Our Foundation has been instrumental in raising the funds to build new libraries:

- Raymond M. Blasco M.D.        Memorial Library
- Edinboro Branch Library
- Iroquois Branch Library
- Lincoln Community Center

A gift to our annual fund supports future construction and maintenance of library buildings.

We help fund planning efforts for the library that will increase their capacity to better serve our region. Read the 2016-2020 Strategic Plan here.

Our Foundation takes its direction from the strategic plan and strives to open up a world of possibilities for all people through the power of our regional libraries.

The Erie County Public Library opened its Idea Lab in 2017, creating a community makerspace with collaboration and idea exploration at its core. Our Foundation supports its daily programs and provides funds for ongoing training and equipment.
